Marine Safety- Several additions
have been made
to our fleet. We have a Zodiac that came to us from the
Scarborough Fire Department, a 19ft
proline purchased from the State of Maine and a wave runner which is donated
yearly to us by Rochester Motorsports. These assets are a wonderful addition
to our town, and our mutual aid towns.

Fire Prevention Trailer- This 24ft trailer was part of the 2003
Assistance to Firefighters Grant awarded to the fire department. This trailer
has three rooms, a fully operational kitchen, living room and bedroom. This
trailer also has a control room that is manned by a firefighter who can control
all functions of the trailer.
Each room in the trailer can be filled with artificial smoke to simulate a smoke
filled room/house while being monitored by the infer-red camera's in the control
room. The trailer is also equipped with a heated door, smoke detectors (both
regular and hearing impaired) a carbon monoxide detector and an internal phone
system for 9-1-1 practice. The trailer is handicapped accessible and has
heat and air-condition capabilities.
