Nomination Papers are available at the Town Office for the following 3-year term positions:
- 1 on the Board of Selectmen
- 3 on the Budget/Finance Committee
- 1 on the RSU #14 School Board
Nomination Papers must be returned to the Town Clerk by 7pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
The Town of Raymond has closed its town maintained roads to vehicles weighing in excess of 23,000 pounds as of Monday, March 16, 2015, until May 31, 2015. 29-A M.R.S.A. § 2395
Routes 85, 121, 302 and the Egypt Road will be exempt from this closure because they are State maintained roads.

The Town of Raymond is seeking one member to serve on the Planning Board, which meets the second Wednesday of the month as needed.
As well as an alternate to serve on the Zoning Board of Appeals, which meets on the last Monday of the month as needed.

The RSU#14 Cost Sharing Formula has expired and the RSU#14 Board of Directors have presented Option #2 for consideration and vote on the following schedule:
- March 5, 2015 - Public Hearing @ RES, 6:30pm (Video)
- March 18, 2015 - Public Hearing @ WHS, 6:00pm (Video - pending)
The vote by both Windham and Raymond residents will be on March 25, 2015 at Windham High School Auditorium. The meeting will begin at 5:30pm and the vote will be at 6:00pm by a show of hands. Please come early to allow for time to be checked in as a registered voter. Below is information regarding the notice and formula:
The March 25, 2015 vote to phase the cost sharing formula to:
2016 Windham 58% Raymond 42%
2017 Windham 61% Raymond 39%
2018 Windham 64% Raymond 36%
And each community would be responsible for any local major project such as a new school or new addition in their community but that other lesser projects such as a roof, boiler, etc. would remain the responsibility of the RSU 14 regardless of which town has the need.
